Normally, the oral cavity is home to about 700 different types of harmless bacteria. If we do not brush our teeth regularly and do not maintain proper oral hygiene, the number of bacteria reaches more than 100 billion and the result is \u2192 gingivitis (inflammation of the gums caused by bacteria). Without treatment, the disease progresses and enters the next stage \u2192 periodontitis.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u219d <\/span><b>Poor oral hygiene<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (lack of regular brushing, not using dental floss, not visiting the dentist regularly).
